Modern Organic Fabrics is a web-only shop based in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. We strive to provide a large variety of organic cotton and eco-friendly fabrics to inspire home sewists and small business crafters alike. We know that so many of us strive to make good decisions for our homes and lifestyles, decisions that are good for the Earth and the people who live here. Our mission is to provide you with fabrics that have been made through processes that are low impact on the Earth.

Why organic?
::Good for the Earth: Organic production systems replenish and maintain soil fertility, reduce the use of toxins and persistent pesticides and fertilizers, and build biologically diverse agriculture.
::Good for the farmers: The growing of conventional cotton uses harmful chemicals and pesticides that can cause serious health conditions for the Farming Community.
::Good for you: Organic cotton is free of chlorine, sodium hydroxide and formaldehyde, which can be present in conventional cotton fabrics.
